Description

New Dellow Conversions cast aluminium bellhousing couples the Ford T5 167mm front shaft transmission to the Jaguar V12 engine . The Ford T5 gives you the ability to run a much stronger, reliable, tried and proven transmission to your Jaguar. The Ford T5 is ideally suited to the Jaguar due to the overdrive which allows low RPM cruising on the open road.

Conversion Notes:

  • The spigot tip of the T5 transmission MUST be machined to O.D 15mm to allow the required wall thickness of the spigot bush
  • There are many different T5 transmissions available, so be cautious when buying to select the right one. In our experience the Ford Falcon EA-EL 6-cylinder T5 has the correct shaft length (167mm) and stick position for this vehicle.  For tunnel estimation, transmission height ~270mm. 125mm from shaft centre to top
  • The flywheel does not come with a ring gear. The late TH400 type ( 1977 onwards ) original automatic ring gear transfers to the new flywheel. Your flex plate can be supplied to us for fitment to the flywheel.
