Our Dellow conversion kit for the Toyota Hilux with manual R150F / R151F transmision uses the Lexus 1UZ V8 to replace the factory petrol or diesel engine, which is expensive to rebuild. The 1UZ V8 is powerful, economical and also offers easy maintenance and peace of mind, knowing replacement parts can be found anywhere.
1) There were 2 transmissions available in the Hilux range, on the compliance plate it will usually state “Trans Axle:”
2) With the R150F & R151F boxes there are two front shaft lengths, 160mm & 190mm. We make the Bellhousing to suit the front shaft length. In addition we will need to know which side the slave cylinder is to be mounted, passenger or driver side. Please advise when ordering.
3) The customer must supply their own flex plate so we can fit the ring gear to the flywheel (Send to PO Box 200, Milperra, NSW 2214)
