New Dellow Conversions aluminium custom designed bellhousing couples the V6 3.6L Alloytec engine in VE Holden Commodores to a Ford C4 C9 C10 automatic transmission. This gives you the ability to run a much stronger, reliable, tried and proven transmission to your high performance engine. In designing the C4, Ford used an aluminium alloy, three-piece case. The aluminium case and the use of a more simple Simpson planetary gear set reduced the weight significantly. It was primarily used with Ford’s inline six-cylinder engines and V8 engines.
