Description
New Dellow Conversions precision CNC machined aluminium bellhousing allows the replacement of the Rover transmission to the strong Toyota R154 5 speed with 190mm front shaft. Conversion may be suitable for MGB MKI & MKII, Rover Cars, Triumph or hand built sport vehicles.
Conversion Notes:
1. Rover V8 flywheels are difficult to come by. A Range Rover flywheel can be used but being too heavy will require lightening to 13KG and drilled and tapped for our clutch setup @ $295 (no re-facing / surface grinding is performed). Send to 37 Daisy St Revesby, NSW 2214, Australia.
2. For export customers, prices are in A$. Customs duties may be payable in your country.
3. The bellhousing can be made in several configurations:
- Concentric Slave – No fork hole entry
- High fork position (pictured) – 18 degrees declination from horizontal – provisioned for conversion slave cylinder
- Mid fork position – 34 degrees declination from horizontal – manufactured with a slave cylinder bracket (included with bellhousing) for the MGB slave cylinder.
- Low fork position – 38 degrees declination from horizontal – provisioned for conversion slave cylinder
4. The Mid & Low fork position is best to clear the chassis for MGBs and Triumph TRs which can be an issue.
5. IMPORTANT NOTE: Transmission is to be installed with two Dowell Pins.
