This was the transmission that got the Australian conversion scene really excited back in the early 1980’s. Dellow Conversions pioneered the Toyota Celica with its 5-speed overdrive design to replace out-dated 3 and 4-speeds. Having a compact cast iron front housing, it quickly became known as the ‘Steel Case’ and is perfect in original vehicles where tunnel clearance is paramount. With a range of 4 stick positions, you will be able to install the shifter in the original console location. Original clutch linkage mounting points are used for this bellhousing conversion.
