New Dellow Conversions cast aluminium precision CNC machined bellhousing couples the Ford Falcon V8 302-351 and XR8 to the Toyota Land Cruiser automatic transmission, A440F, A441F, A442F & A443F.
This gives you the ability to run a reliable, tried and proven engine with parts readily available. The Ford 302-351 and XR8 engine is lighter and more economical to run than the original Land Cruiser petrol or diesel engine.
Consider the front drive shaft location, bellhousing can be made as either 2 bolt driver side starter or 3 bolt passenger side starter.
The bellhousing is machined to suit your ring gear size, please specify when ordering, 157 / 160 or 164 / 167.
Additional Conversion Notes:
- This conversion requires a new torque converter to be made by an automatic specialist
- The A440F, A441F can be identified as a ~150mm hole on the original bellhousing. The A442F, A443F has hole size ~160mm and different bolt pattern. Please specify when ordering.
- V8’s are a tight fit in Land Cruiser 80 series and above. In these instances the conversion is only recommended for race / off road vehicles as modification of the firewall and 2″ body lift kit required.
